About Sateenkaariliiga

Sateenkaariliiga is a spraywall climbing league. Competitions run in groups, and each participant sets routes. Everyone then attempts these routes.

Results are tracked live during the event and published here.

• Each participant creates two routes.
• The creator of a route climbs their own route first.
• Everyone else attempts the route once.
• Those who didn't top the route on their first attempt give a second attempt.
• Scores are based on tops and flashes; failing your own route costs points.

• Flash (top on first attempt): +200 points
• Top (not a flash): +100 points
• Fail your own route: -80 points

Leaderboards sort by total score, then by number of flashes, then by number of tops.

If two or more climbers are tied on score, flashes, and tops:

• Without a tiebreaker, tied climbers share the same rank equal to the last position in their tie block (e.g., 1, 2, 4, 4, 5).
• Rock-paper-scissors can be used as a tiebreaker to determine distinct ranks among tied climbers.

When league scoring is enabled for a group, competition results translate into league points:

• 1st: 100 points
• 2nd: 80 points
• 3rd: 60 points
• 4th: 40 points
• 5th: 20 points

Competitions run in live mode. The live view shows "Live" status, the active route, the current climber, and their attempt state. Once completed, results are finalized and the live view ends.
